HR Recruiter
Our client in Farmington, Connecticut is seeking a motivated and results-driven HR Recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts in a contract capacity. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process, helping attract qualified candidates, and partnering with hiring managers to fill open positions efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in recruitment coordination, candidate screening, and stakeholder communication within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, from intake through offer stage
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and timelines
- Source candidates through job boards, databases, referrals, and other recruiting channels
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
- Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
- Maintain accurate candidate records and update applicant tracking systems
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience
- Assist with drafting and posting job descriptions
- Coordinate offer letters, pre-employment steps, and onboarding support as needed
- Track recruiting activity and provide status updates to internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR coordination, or a related role required
- Experience managing multiple requisitions in a high-volume or fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms
- Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Compensation
