Billing Clerk
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support invoicing, payment tracking, and billing record maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and issue invoices accurately and on schedule
- Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies with internal teams or customers
- Post payments and maintain accurate billing records
- Monitor accounts and assist with follow-up on outstanding balances
- Reconcile billing activity and support account research as needed
- Maintain organized documentation related to invoices, payments, and customer accounts
- Assist with month-end billing reports and related administrative tasks
- Support process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of billing, accounting support, or related experience preferred
- Knowledge of invoicing, payment posting, and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or billing software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
Compensation
