Robert Half is partnering with a well-established and growing Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm in Walnut Creek that is expanding its team due to continued growth and success. Conveniently located just steps from BART, this is an excellent opportunity for a Client Service Associate who enjoys building client relationships, supporting advisors, and being part of a collaborative, client-focused culture.
Key responsibilities include:
• Partner closely with Wealth Advisors to provide exceptional service to high-net-worth clients and their families
• Lead client onboarding, account opening, and account maintenance activities across a variety of account types, including retirement and trust accounts
• Manage ACAT transfers, money movement requests, Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), and Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)
• Prepare and process custodian paperwork, client documentation, and account-related transactions with a high degree of accuracy
• Coordinate client communications and serve as a primary point of contact for service-related requests
• Assist with portfolio review preparation, performance reporting, and quarter-end client deliverables
• Maintain accurate client records within Salesforce and support ongoing data integrity initiatives
• Collaborate with advisors, custodians, and internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience supporting financial advisors, wealth management teams, RIAs, brokerage firms, private banks, or related financial services organizations
• Working knowledge of retirement accounts, trust accounts, ACAT transfers, and account servicing processes
• Experience with Orion, Salesforce, DocuSign, and Microsoft Office Suite is highly preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and commitment to delivering a white-glove client experience
• Professional communication skills and the confidence to interact directly with clients, advisors, and external partners
