Summary:
Responsible for all financial reporting functions within an organization.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees work related to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensures compliance with organizational standards and government regulations (including GAAP).
Reviews and approves required debt and agency filings, including those for all warehouse and credit facilities
Reviews and interprets regulations and provides technical accounting guidance across the organization, including the preparation of technical accounting memos
Provides accounting assistance during special projects, such as mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring and performance management
Collaborates with other members of the executive finance management team to align departmental strategy or direction with the overall goals of the organization
Develops policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has direct reports. Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
At least 15 years of experience
Public accounting experience is a plus
General ledger experience a plus
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
CPA License

The estimated base pay for this role is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The estimated base pay for this position is the annualized equivalent of $227,000.00 - $268,000.00, depending on experience, qualifications, market location, and other job-related factors.
