| Job Summary | The Advanced Practice Provider Orthopedic Surgery Trauma works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team. The APP functions as a member of the orthopedic trauma management team. This requires management of all aspects of patients from admission to discharge. The APP is integral in the operating room in collaboration with the attending surgeon. In some service lines the APP may perform the pre, intra op, post op and follow up care. The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice and education and ensuring an environment of safe quality care. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic Orthopedic Sports Medicine team. This is a unique opportunity to practice at the intersection of clinical care, surgery, and research—working directly with elite and professional athletes as well as active individuals of all ages. Qualifications Current NCCPA certification and state licensure (or eligibility) preferred Prior orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred, but motivated new graduates will be considered Strong interest in caring for athletes and contributing to clinical research Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
