| Job Summary |
The Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor to contribute to its applied teaching, research, and service missions. This is a non-tenure-eligible faculty position in the Clinical Title Series with an anticipated distribution of effort (DOE) of 80% Research, 15% Teaching and 5% Service. The appointment is expected to begin July 1, 2026.
The successful candidate will combine high-quality, practice-oriented instruction with externally funded, policy-relevant applied research.
Research Responsibilities
• The successful candidate will engage in applied, policy-relevant research focused on public-sector financial management, auditing, and/or social service delivery. • The position is structured with a substantial expectation of salary recovery from external grants and contracts, and candidates must demonstrate a track record of securing such funding.
Teaching Responsibilities The position includes teaching graduate-level courses in areas such as:
