Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Custody & Wealth Servicing Product team within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Operations. This team is responsible for setting product strategy, defining and delivering roadmaps, and enabling scalable, compliant servicing solutions that support institutional custody, clearing, and wealth servicing businesses. This role supports Wells Trade and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) servicing strategies across Wells Trade, Intuitive Investor, and Advisor Solutions. The role is accountable for translating business strategy into executable operating models and processes and serves as a central point of ownership to drive strategy execution, develop target operating models (TOMs), and lead reviews of current‑state processes to identify and remediate control gaps, structural inefficiencies, and legacy design risks across WIM Operations.

The position plays a key role in strengthening control effectiveness, reducing operational risk exposure, and improving process sustainability by modernizing end‑to‑end servicing workflows in partnership with Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, and Control stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Own execution of Wells Trade and UHNW servicing strategy initiatives in partnership with senior business leaders
  • Lead structured current‑state process assessments to identify control gaps, process fragmentation, and legacy design risks across WIM Operations
  • Evaluate end‑to‑end servicing workflows to reduce residual operational risk, manual error exposure, and dependency on non‑scalable or compensating controls
  • Design and document end‑to‑end processes and detailed target operating models (TOMs) aligned to control standards and regulatory expectations
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable operating plans and future‑state solutions that improve control consistency across servicing channels
  • Lead cross‑functional execution across Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Control
  • Drive clarity, prioritization, and risk‑aware decision making in complex, ambiguous environments
  • Standardize and rationalize servicing processes to improve risk transparency, control ownership, and audit readiness, including form‑based and exception‑driven workflows
  • Partner with Risk and Control teams to remediate structural process weaknesses, eliminate reliance on manual compensating controls, and reduce repeat issues
  • Establish governance, ownership, and execution frameworks to support sustainable, well‑controlled operating models
  • Prepare executive‑level materials, including current‑ vs. future‑state process assessments, operational risk themes, control considerations, and key dependencies


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Wealth Management, Wells Trade, or UHNW servicing models
  • Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) or PMP Certification
  • Strong current‑state process assessment, process mapping, and operating model design experience
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate operational risk drivers through process redesign and standardization
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives in regulated environments
  • Executive‑level communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience identifying risks, dependencies, and control trade‑offs in legacy operating environments
  • Experience preparing executive‑level reporting, including risk summaries and operating model insights


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
