About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant


In this role, you will:

  • Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
  • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
  • Lead or participate on large cross group projects
  • Mentor less experienced staff
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in BI, analytics, or reporting roles.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI/Tableau, SQL, and Power Query (3+ years).
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server) and data integration.
  • Proven ability to design dashboards, define KPIs, and align solutions to business goals.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Good to have exposure to Python, PowerApps, or Data Science/AI concepts.
  • Experience in banking domains (Risk, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain)


Job Expectations:

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable BI solutions and advanced analytics.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven insights.
  • Drive end-to-end project execution, including planning, design, and delivery.
  • Build and optimize interactive dashboards and reporting frameworks using Power BI/Tableau.
  • Perform deep-dive analysis, identify trends/anomalies, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality for reliable reporting.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance, automate, and improve reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and timely delivery aligned with business objectives.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote best practices, reusability, and automation
