Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector (NGAS) is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst (Level 2) or Principal Industrial Security Analyst (Level 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in San Diego, CA.

 

The selected candidate will have the responsibility of developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment in a fast-paced, high-profile portfolio of programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • International Security
  • Triage Security Inquiries and acting on accordingly
  • Provide security education, training, and awareness tailored to DoD security responsibilities
  • Help maintain strong security compliance with the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM)
  • Receive, dispatch, and safeguard classified information and equipment
  • Process and account for the destruction of classified material
  • Maintain accurate security records and documentation in Government and Company systems
  • Participate in annual security inspections
  • Conduct security audits and properly communicate findings
  • Interpret and communicate security guidance to stakeholders

ISA2

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 2+ years of Industrial Security or security related experience with Bachelor’s Degree OR an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted in-lieu of a degree
  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance, current and within scope
  • US Citizenship required
  • Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM)
  • Experience with government security databases; DISS, NISS
  • Must be proficient in MS Office suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs)

ISA3

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Industrial Security experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of Industrial Security experience with a Master’s Degree or an additional 4 years of Industrial Security experience may be considered in-lieu of a degree
  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance, current and within scope
  • US Citizenship required
  • Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM)
  • Must be proficient in MS Office suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs)

Preferred Qualifications for both ISA2/3:

  • Top Secret Government Clearance
  • Experience working on DoD programs
  • Experience working in classified Lab or Manufacturing environments
  • Experience in Classification inventory and accountability (Document Control)
  • Experience in public speaking
  • International Security experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
