Medical Scheduler
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate medical and related appointments for residents, ensuring schedules are accurate and communicated in a timely manner.
• Organize and maintain both digital and paper records to support accessible, up-to-date documentation.
• Prepare routine written correspondence, meeting agendas, and calendar updates for administrative and clinical activities.
• Assist with billing-related tasks and provide general office support to help maintain efficient day-to-day operations.
• Review medical charts regularly to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance with required standards.
• Gather and monitor information needed for recurring reports, audits, and regulatory documentation.
• Complete and distribute required reports, care plan documents, discharge paperwork, and monthly updates to county agencies, guardians, and other designated parties.
• Provide backup coverage at the front desk when needed and support additional assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare administrative, medical scheduling, or similar support role.• Working knowledge of patient scheduling, appointment coordination, and patient demographic data entry.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, staff, guardians, and external agencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic scheduling or medical record systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling records, reports, and billing support tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
Compensation
