Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor account maintenance. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Based on general knowledge.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Based on general knowledge.
  • Review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy and proper approval. Based on general knowledge.
  • Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Based on general knowledge.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. Based on general knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation. Based on general knowledge.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and communicate professionally with internal stakeholders. Based on general knowledge.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Based on general knowledge.
  • Support audits and help ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Based on general knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting support experience preferred. Based on general knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing. Based on general knowledge.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems. Based on general knowledge.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Based on general knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Based on general knowledge.



Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing.
• Working knowledge of check runs, vendor file maintenance, and accounts payable recordkeeping.
• Ability to verify financial data carefully and maintain accuracy in a high-volume processing environment.
• Familiarity with general ledger account coding and standard documentation controls for disbursements.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal staff and external vendors to resolve payment issues.
• Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems used for invoice entry and payment tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, stay organized, and handle routine administrative support within a finance office.

Compensation

$18.34-$20.00 Hourly
