Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a collaborative team in Grand Haven, Michigan. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting customers, managing order-related information accurately, and contributing to a fast-paced office environment. The role offers the chance to build strong operational knowledge while working closely with sales and internal partners. Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming customer inquiries by phone and email, providing timely, courteous, and solution-focused support.
• Enter and maintain order details, customer records, and related information with a high level of accuracy.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and other internal teams to resolve service issues and keep accounts moving smoothly.
• Monitor customer requests and follow through on open items to ensure clear communication and dependable service.
• Use business systems and standard office software to track activity, update information, and support daily workflow needs.
• Assist with forecasting, reporting, and administrative tasks that help the team stay organized and informed.
• Support knowledge transfer and cross-training efforts to maintain continuity during team coverage needs.
• Contribute to a positive office environment by building strong working relationships and communicating effectively with colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, call center support, order entry, or a related client-facing role.

• Comfortable managing inbound calls and handling outbound follow-up when needed.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.

• Ability to learn and navigate customer service, ERP or CRM platforms; experience with HubSpot or similar systems is helpful.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage data entry accurately in a busy environment.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills with a detail-focused and approachable style.

• Dependable work ethic, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site team setting.

Compensation

$20.59-$23.84 Hourly
