Property Manager
Job Overview: Our client is looking for a Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of their properties. This role is offered on a contract basis, providing flexibility with the potential for long-term opportunities. The ideal candidate will have relevant property management experience and a passion for delivering high-quality service. Certifications are a plus and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including residential, commercial, or mixed-use portfolios.
- Oversee tenant relations, including leasing, renewals, conflict resolution, and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
- Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and inspections, working with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws and safety standards.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, collect rent, and handle financial reporting for property owners.
- Market vacant units, screen applicants, and execute lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to property owners and management.
- Respond to emergencies and address issues promptly to maintain property standards and tenant satisfaction.

- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant property management experience (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
- Strong understanding of property operations, tenant relations, and lease administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, owners, and vendors.
- Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar).
- Knowledge of California real estate laws, fair housing regulations, and local ordinances.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties or tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for property visits.
