CFO - Chief Financial Officer
Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to support an organization in a dynamic environment. This role provides executive-level financial leadership, oversees finance and accounting operations, and partners with leadership to drive performance and decision-making. The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance leader who can quickly assess operations, implement structure, and deliver both strategic guidance and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Lead finance and accounting operations including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Partner with leadership to develop financial strategy and business plans. Oversee financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Assess and improve financial processes and reporting. Provide insights based on data analysis and KPIs. Ensure strong internal controls and risk management practices. Lead and mentor finance staff. Collaborate cross-functionally. Support special projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
10+ years of finance/accounting experience with executive leadership. CFO or senior finance leadership experience. Strong financial reporting and FP& A background. Experience partnering with executive teams. Process improvement experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ERP systems experience and advanced Excel. Strong communication and leadership ability.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including prior service as a CFO, Director of Finance, or comparable senior financial executive.
• Demonstrated background managing accounting and finance operations in a complex organization with responsibility for reporting, close processes, and strategic oversight.
• Strong expertise in cash flow analysis, capital management, financial reporting, and month-end close leadership.
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders while serving as a steady, supportive leader for accounting and finance teams.
• Ability to navigate changing priorities and incomplete information with confidence, professionalism, and sound decision-making.
• Knowledge of federal funding compliance requirements, including experience with grant-related financial oversight.
• Exposure to financial planning and analysis, annual planning, and business plan development in collaboration with FP& A leadership.
• Experience with business systems and finance software.
Compensation
