Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to support ongoing content execution for a part-time, on-going contract position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning creative direction into engaging social posts that align with brand standards across multiple channels. The right candidate brings strong visual storytelling skills, a sharp eye for design, and the ability to produce consistent, engaging content in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop visually appealing social media content, including graphics, short videos, captions, and simple video scripts based on established brand guidance.

• Translate campaign themes and team direction into ready-to-publish content tailored for various social platforms.

• Use design and editing tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or similar software to create high-quality digital assets.

• Manage the scheduling and publishing of posts to maintain a steady and organized social media presence.

• Monitor channel activity and provide light audience engagement through interactions with users and relevant accounts.

• Adapt creative assets and messaging formats to suit the style and requirements of different social media channels.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure content reflects current priorities, brand voice, and visual standards.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital design, or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to build high-quality social content supported by a strong portfolio of visual and written work.

• Proficiency with content creation and design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or comparable platforms.

• Experience producing assets for social media channels, including static graphics, short-form video, and captions.

• Comfortable working from broad direction and refining content independently in situations with evolving priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and an ability to maintain consistency in tone, quality, and visual presentation.

• Ideally a background in SaaS, AI, or technology-focused environment
