Project Assistant
We are looking for a Security Manager to support reporting, data analysis, and operational coordination our client in Portland, Oregon. This role works within a small team overseeing a large-scale security operation and is responsible for managing data-driven insights, supporting investigations, and helping guide resource allocation through accurate and timely reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Review and process high volumes of security incident data, ensuring accuracy and removing duplicates across multiple systems.
• Categorize and analyze data to track trends, identify hot spots, and support operational decision-making.
• Compile data into reports, dashboards, and summaries including percentages and key performance metrics.
• Support quarterly and annual reporting by organizing thousands of records into structured datasets.
• Respond to public and video records requests within required timelines.
• Assist with investigations, documentation, and security-related administrative tasks.
• Coordinate scheduling and communication for security consultations and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic projects, including facility security reviews and planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
Requirements of the position:
• Experience in data-heavy operations, reporting, or security-related administrative roles.
• Strong skills in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, shared drives); Excel experience transferable.
• Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and calculate percentages accurately.
• Experience writing reports, summaries, SOPs, and professional communications.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of sensitive information.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a highly confidential environment with strict data privacy expectations.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time-sensitive tasks, including public records requests.
Compensation
