Mailroom Assistant

We are looking for a dependable Mailroom Clerk to support day-to-day mail distribution and package handling in Bothell, Washington. This Long-term Contract position is well suited to someone who stays organized, works carefully, and takes pride in keeping mailroom operations running smoothly. The role focuses on receiving, sorting, processing, and delivering mail accurately while maintaining an efficient flow of incoming and outgoing items.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and organize incoming letters, parcels, and courier deliveries for timely distribution.

• Prepare outbound mail and packages by labeling, documenting, and coordinating pickup or shipment.

• Deliver mail and other materials to the appropriate departments or individuals throughout the site.

• Track daily mail activity to help maintain accurate records and support smooth operations.

• Inspect packages and mail items for proper routing, completeness, and handling requirements.

• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked mailroom environment to support efficient daily work.

Qualifications:

• Ability to handle routine mailroom tasks with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable sorting, processing, and distributing a high volume of daily mail and packages.
• Capable of following established procedures for incoming and outgoing mail handling.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
• Dependable work habits and the ability to maintain consistent attendance.
• Entry-level experience is welcome; 0+ years of experience required.

Compensation

$21.00-$23.00 Hourly
