Attorney/Lawyer

Robert Half is seeking a Temporary Contracts Associate on behalf of a global, remote-first AdTech company. This role will support the company’s commercial legal team during a high-volume period and is expected to last approximately three months, with the potential for extension. The position involves close collaboration with international stakeholders, with a primary focus on EMEA-based commercial matters and counterparties.

Location: Remote (Based in New York) 

Duration: Approx. 3 Months (Potential for Extension)

Hours: 40 hours/week

Start Date: Targeting End of June

Pay Rate: $60-$80 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with a focus on insertion orders (IOs) incorporating IAB standard terms
• Manage and respond to contract redlines from EMEA-based customers, ensuring alignment with company policies and risk tolerance
• Review and advise on Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and GDPR-related provisions
• Support cross-border commercial transactions and provide guidance on international contracting considerations
• Partner with internal stakeholders, including sales and operations, to facilitate efficient deal execution
• Deliver practical, business-oriented legal advice in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Active bar admission required in FL, GA, MA, PA, NJ, or NY; candidates must also be currently residing in one of these states
• Approximately 5+ years of experience handling commercial contracts (law firm training strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of GDPR fundamentals; advanced data privacy experience is a plus
• Experience with EMEA counterparties and cross-border commercial agreements strongly preferred
• Familiarity with AdTech, digital advertising, or media industry agreements preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of contracts in a remote environment
