Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate to join a busy operations team in California. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to build hands-on experience in warehouse support. The position offers a fast-moving environment where consistency, teamwork, and a strong willingness to learn are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming deliveries by checking, sorting, and placing materials in the appropriate storage areas.

• Prepare outbound shipments by selecting items accurately, packaging them securely, and staging them for dispatch.

• Support dock activity by helping move materials on and off trucks in a safe and efficient manner.

• Keep the warehouse orderly by maintaining clean workspaces and following established safety practices throughout the shift.

• Assist with routine stock checks and communicate any quantity issues or inventory irregularities to the appropriate team members.

• Follow operational procedures and workplace guidelines to help ensure accurate and timely warehouse flow.

• Contribute to general warehouse operations as needed, including tasks that support logistics and distribution activities.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, logistics support, or general labor is preferred.

• Demonstrated dependability, a strong work ethic, and a readiness to learn new processes.

• Ability to take direction well, adapt to feedback, and work productively in a team-based setting.

• Good attention to detail when handling inventory, preparing shipments, and completing routine warehouse tasks.

• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required during daily operations, up to 50lbs

• Commitment to following safety expectations, including wearing steel-toed boots with metal tarsal guards.
