Front Desk Coordinator

Compensation: $18.50 to $19.30 Hourly

We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to support daily office operations for a nonprofit organization in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This Contract to permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming first impression while keeping communication, appointments, and administrative tasks organized. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, helping the office run smoothly through attentive service and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors and clients, guide them through sign-in procedures, and ensure front office security practices are followed consistently.
• Answer and route incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, take clear messages, and connect inquiries to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain awareness of staff availability, internal contacts, and office schedules to support timely communication and reduce appointment conflicts.
• Coordinate appointments for clients and employees, keeping calendars accurate, organized, and efficient.
• Perform day-to-day administrative support such as scanning, copying, filing, and preparing materials for office and client use.
• Keep the reception area orderly, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary office supplies.
• Support case coordination staff by entering, organizing, and maintaining paper and electronic records with accuracy.
• Respond to routine client questions courteously and direct more complex matters to the appropriate department or staff member.
• Prepare and send reminders, notices, and other client-facing communications as needed while handling sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a reception, front desk, or customer-facing administrative role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and staff.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office setting.
• Solid organizational skills with careful attention to accurate recordkeeping and data entry.
• Experience handling clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and maintaining office documents.
• Ability to use a multi-line phone system and provide dependable customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

$18.50-$19.30 Hourly
