VP/Director of Finance
We are looking for an experienced VP/Director of Finance to lead financial operations and strategy for our organization in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational objectives and support long-term growth.
• Oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and accounting functions.
• Analyze and prepare accurate financial reports and statements for senior leadership, the board, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
• Manage risk through the implementation of robust internal controls and financial systems.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, including recruitment, performance management, and development focused on attention to detail.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external financial partners such as banks, auditors, and investors.
• Provide strategic financial advice to executives and contribute to high-level decision-making.
• Monitor investment portfolios and recommend strategies to optimize returns.
• Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across the organization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications focused on attention to detail are strongly preferred. Real estate or construction experience required.
• At least 10 years of experience in senior financial management roles.
• Expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and team leadership.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities paired with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing annual budgets, month-end close processes, and cash flow forecasts.
• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate financial reporting and oversee budget processes.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and risk management practices.
• Proven track record of collaborating with external financial partners and stakeholders.
Compensation
