Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and support the overall accounting function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and assisting with reporting to help ensure the financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting systems
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and issue invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
• Assist with payroll processing and related recordkeeping
• Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and basic accounting principles
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
