Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close, maintaining general ledger accuracy, and supporting audits and reporting activities.

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other general ledger transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support financial reporting, account analysis, and variance review.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and transaction issues.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other departments to support overall accounting operations.

Qualifications:

2+ years of accounting or related finance experience preferred.

Knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.

Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
