VP Corporate Strategy - 882
In this role you will own and drive Quantinuum’s corporate strategy, translating complex quantum innovation into clear strategic choices, aligned priorities, and executable plans across hardware, software, services, commercial, and business (sales, marketing) functions ensuring long-term ambition is converted into measurable business outcomes, disciplined resource allocation, and durable market leadership.
Key responsibilities:

Strategy Development (STRAP) Process Leadership: Own the end-to-end STRAP process and be accountable for delivering a clear, multi-year corporate strategy with explicit choices, integrated priorities, and outcome-linked plans across hardware, software, services, commercial, and business (sales, marketing) functions.

Closed-Loop Strategy Execution: Own a closed-loop execution framework and be accountable for translating strategy into measurable initiatives, KPIs/OKRs, and governance cadences that drive delivery, accountability, and course correction across all functions.

Enterprise Business Planning Process: Own the annual and multi-year business planning process and be accountable for ensuring plans, targets, and operational commitments are aligned to strategic priorities across technical, commercial, and business functions.

Vertical Strategy Development: Own the development of vertical strategies and be accountable for defining where to play (which verticals) / how to win (by taking a vertical / customer-back perspective), including use-case prioritisation and strategic narratives that guide product, commercial, and business function execution.

Value Chain and Platform Strategy Development: Along with technical leadership and the VP Corporate Development, own development of Quantinuum’s platform and value chain strategy to define which segments Quantinuum will own, where it will partner, and where it will not play and determine how it will monetize

Full-Stack Strategic Alignment: Own the integration of strategy across hardware, software, applications, commercial, and business functions and be accountable for driving alignment, trade-offs, and execution discipline at the enterprise level.

Portfolio, Investment, and Resource Planning & Management: Own the enterprise portfolio and resource allocation framework and be accountable for prioritising investments and capacity across hardware, software, commercial, and business functions to maximise strategic impact.

Market, Competitive, Customer, and Strategic Intelligence: Own the strategic intelligence agenda and be accountable for delivering continuous insight on customers, competitors, and market dynamics to inform decision-making across all functions.

Strategic Initiatives Portfolio Governance: Own the definition, prioritisation, and governance of enterprise strategic initiatives and be accountable for ensuring clear ownership, resourcing, and delivery across technical, commercial, and business teams.

Executive & BoD Engagement: Own strategy engagement with the Executive Team and Board of Directors and be accountable for high-quality strategic narratives, decision materials, and recommendations that enable timely and effective decision-making.

Internal Strategy Communication: Own the translation of strategy into clear and consistent internal narratives, in close partnership with the Marketing internal communications team, and be accountable for organisation-wide understanding and alignment across all functions.
Must Haves:

Enterprise Strategy Leadership in Deep Tech (10+ years): Proven ownership of corporate strategy in a complex, R&D-led environment (e.g., quantum, AI, semiconductors, advanced computing), with accountability for shaping long-term direction and influencing executive and Board-level decisions.
