IT Project Manager - Infrastructure Lead
Location: Hybrid - Washington, DC
Responsibilities:
As the Infrastructure Lead, you will oversee the IT Infrastructure and Customer Service workstream for the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). You will act as the primary program management and oversight interface for TTB's mission-enabling infrastructure, encompassing Azure Gov cloud environments, virtualization, and ITS vendor performance.
Day-to-day activities include:
- Reviewing and validating status reports from the ServiceNow Support Vendor to ensure progress on TTB contractual obligations.
- Conducting comprehensive audits and reviews of the ITS Vendor's Monthly Status Reports (MSR) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) Performance Evaluations to identify performance gaps and verify metrics.
- Preparing Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) evaluations of the ITS Vendor for review and submission by the Infrastructure ACIO.
- Analyzing Annual SLA results of the ITS Vendor and recommending strategic operational improvements.
- Reviewing procurement documentation for infrastructure IT products and services to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with contractual requirements prior to submission.
- Providing program management and subject matter coordination for TTB's transition to Azure native solutions, integrating infrastructure operations with application, security, and enterprise architecture teams. Supporting oversight of TTB's Windows 11 / M365 client environment, VMware virtualization, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) platforms in alignment with Zero Trust principles.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure program management, enterprise cloud operations, and vendor/SLA management.
- Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Azure Gov architectures, VMware, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms like ServiceNow.
- Proven ability to rigidly audit vendor SLAs, draft comprehensive CPARS evaluations, and govern complex infrastructure procurement documentation.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident Alien with at least three (3) years of US residency.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Salary: $125,000- $145,000
