Metric5 is seeking a Deputy Program Manager.

As the Deputy Program Manager, you will assist the Program Manager for the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Your day-to-day focus will be on operational execution and deliverable quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing all operational onboarding, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) provisioning, and network access logistics to ensure strict Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) staffing metrics are met (e.g., deploying personnel within 20-30 days).
  • Assisting in the formulation, tracking, and delivery of Technology Business Management (TBM) aligned Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) and the annual Period of Performance Summary Report.
  • Supporting the development and continuous updating of the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) to ensure defect-free services.
  • Assisting the Program Manager with tracking the overarching OCIO Annual Operating Plan and coordinating updates across multiple technical workstreams (App Dev, InfoSec, Infrastructure, etc.).
  • Acting as the secondary point of contact for the Government integrated project team (IPT) and proactively apprising the Government of schedule risks or process hurdles.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in federal IT project or program management.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project) and TBM cost reporting frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage onboarding pipelines, track complex deliverables against stringent SLAs/QASP metrics, and author comprehensive status reports.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident Alien with at least three (3) years of U.S. residency and able to obtain a government suitability clearance.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master).
  • Active Treasury clearance.
  • Prior experience supporting Department of the Treasury bureaus or managing hybrid firm-fixed-price task orders.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000 annually
