Fleet Transactions Director

Summary
The Director of Fleet Transactions is a key member of the Allegiant Finance organization, responsible for leading the planning, analysis, and execution of aircraft and engine transactions. This role supports Corporate Finance initiatives through the negotiation and management of aircraft acquisitions, leases, financing, and asset dispositions, while delivering rigorous fleet and market analysis, financial modeling, and overseeing aircraft deliveries. The Director plays a critical role in shaping fleet strategy, managing external relationships, and ensuring disciplined execution of all fleet-related financial and contractual activities.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Education Details: In Business, Finance, or related field.
Years of Experience: Minimum seven (7) years of fleet planning, corporate finance, aircraft trading, investment banking, management consulting, or similar experience.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with transaction counterparties and manage large, multi-party, internal and external projects.
• Strong attention to detail is required in all aspects of the position.
• Embrace hard work and be comfortable with a fast-paced, quickly changing work environment.
• Strong intellect and analytical aptitude are required, along with the ability to manage multiple and varied activities.
• Strong negotiation skills are essential to appropriately advance the company’s agenda in acquisitions and dispositions, as well as to successfully resolve commercial and technical disputes.

Preferred Requirements
• Advanced degree in Business, Finance or related field.
• Experience in the Airline Industry.

Job Duties
• Lead the planning, analysis, and execution of aircraft and engine transactions, including acquisitions, leases, lease buyouts, dispositions, and financing initiatives.
• Develop and deliver robust financial models and decision analytics to support fleet transactions, including leases, debt, and other capital structures.
• Shape the airline’s long-term fleet strategy, including aircraft retirement schedules, growth plans, replacement strategies, and the evaluation of new technologies and fleet types.
• Conduct aircraft and engine valuations, lease-vs.-buy analysis, and market assessments to inform strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Lead the negotiation, execution, and lifecycle management of aircraft and engine purchase and lease agreements, including amendments, settlements, and compliance oversight.
• Manage strategic relationships and contractual obligations with manufacturers, lessors, financiers, and other industry stakeholders to originate opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
• Oversee aircraft and engine asset dispositions, including timing strategy, market execution, and cross-functional coordination.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Maintenance, Finance, Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Procurement, and Network teams on fleet-related strategy, budgeting, and execution.
• Develop, manage, and forecast the fleet-related budget, including ownership costs such as rent, depreciation, interest, and engine maintenance.
• Lead aircraft delivery and inspection activities, including oversight of technical inspection teams across global locations.
• Lead the resolution of contractual, financial, and technical issues with external counterparties.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team, including recruiting, coaching, and ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful deliverables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
