Overview
About the Role & Team
The Contract Project Manager will lead a focused, time-boxed audit of IDC’s Sales Hub content library. Working closely with Product Managers, Analysts, and other content owners, this person will systematically review each asset, validate its currency and accuracy with the appropriate owner, and deliver a clean, tagged inventory of current, sales-ready assets.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organization, and the confidence and diplomacy to drive clear decisions across many busy stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Inventory and triage approximately 1,700 Sales Hub assets, using the existing enriched inventory as the starting point, and classify each asset by status: current, needs update, outdated/retire, or duplicate.
- Partner with Product Managers, Analysts, and other content owners to validate the currency and accuracy of each asset, resolve conflicting input, and secure clear keep, update, or retire decisions.
- Apply a consistent tagging and metadata structure, including product, persona, funnel stage, owner, last-validated date, and status, to support downstream search and retrieval.
- Produce and maintain a single authoritative master list of current, usable assets, with a documented disposition and rationale for every item.
- Identify duplicate assets for consolidation and surface gaps where current, sales-ready content is missing.
- Manage the project end to end, including maintaining the project plan and schedule, tracking progress against the 6–8 week timeline, providing weekly status updates, and escalating risks and blockers promptly.
- Document the taxonomy and process so the validated library can feed the interim AI retrieval tool and support the broader Product Education program.
- Ensure a clean handoff at the conclusion of the project.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in project management, content operations, sales operations, sales enablement, or a comparable detail-intensive coordination role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational discipline, with the ability to manage a high volume of items without sacrificing accuracy.
- Confident and diplomatic communication skills, with the ability to work across Product Management, Research/Analyst, and Enablement teams while driving timely decisions from busy stakeholders.
- Hands-on proficiency with SharePoint, including document libraries, metadata, and versioning.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
- Proven ability to design and manage a structured process, consistently meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the technology research/analyst industry or IDC’s product portfolio.
