Position Summary

Provide supervisory level oversight for operation of the MAC warehouses and storage facilities. Help coordinate MAC employee’s functions that prioritize issuing/maintaining/replenishing warehouse stock, kitting materials, ensuring customer needs are met, and ensure those duties are performed in a safe, professional, and efficient manner. Ensure customers objectives and expectations with staffing, ordering/ maintaining/storage of parts & materials, environmental and safety compliance are met or surpassed. Duties also include ensuring these duties are performed in a manner that prevents unsafe work execution, stops observed unsafe acts, and recommends safety enhancements to the benefit of the safety and productivity of the MAC team.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure relationship with SRMC progresses seamlessly without interruption of parts and materials to our customer.
  • Ensure inventory is managed per SRMC and Site procedures.
  • Attend meetings with SRMC MAC customer.
  • Responsible for the safety of all MAC personnel and for the security of the facility.
  • When necessary, take disciplinary action to maintain safe, healthy, and efficient workplace.
  • Evaluate overall personnel and process performance and identify means of improvements and/or resolve personnel or process problems.
  • Responsible for training and development of subordinate personnel.
  • Ensure facility is operated in such a manner that will maximize parts and material availability and minimize cost.
  • Ensure all general housekeeping goals are met.
  • Successfully participate in on- or off-the-job training as required.
  • Be available to work rotating shifts as needed to ensure shift coverage responsibilities are met.
  • Acquire and maintain any licenses/certifications required by Site, State, or Federal regulations to perform job duties.
  • Responsible to maintain confidentiality of all information available to the position.
  • Ensure the contractual requirements are met through compliance of WE2 SRMC MAC Worker Protection Plan, Site Procedures, as well as State and Federal Environmental Regulations, OSHA and the ocumentation, thereof.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate manager to this position, but not specifically stated in this description.
  • Ensure H Area and F Area MAC’s are adequately staffed, including coverage for employee PTO, adverse weather conditions, deaths in family, etc.
  • Efficiently cross-train on S Area Lead position.


Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or GED/TASC/HiSET and at least five (5) years of experience in warehouse operations, property management, inventory control, or related work experience.
  • Steward the organizational culture with a focus on teamwork and commitment to service amidst a diverse colleague and customer base.
  • Ability to quickly adapt focus, adjust schedule and problem solve to meet evolving work demands and needs of supervisor and other stakeholders.
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also work independently and balance multiple competing priorities and tasks.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to pass an extensive background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.


H Area MAC Lead Specific Job Functions

Waste Disposition

  • Excess Forms/Location of material before disposition
  • Environmental/Chemical/Radiological compliance through the SRR Chemical Coordinator, ECO, and the waste verifier. (Determine what can be thrown away and how disposal method)


Reports

  • Collect data from Issue Correction Sheets, execute corrections in Puridiom, then forward report to the SRR Puridiom System Administrator
  • Collect data from Kit Correction Sheets, execute corrections in Puridiom, then forward report to the SRR Puridiom System Administrator
  • Collect data from Out of Area Charge Code Sheets then re-order MAC inventory under correct charge code
  • Work Order Report: Close MSR’s due to close/canceled/complete work orders and determine disposition material


MAC Equipment Track/Order/Maintain

  • Schedule/guide forklift maintenance subcontractor
  • Track maintenance and maintain fuel for MAC vehicle and forklift
  • Track and maintain H Area MAC office equipment/supplies (laminator, toner, paper, etc.)


Inventory

  • Track materials for SRR program compliance (heat stress, environmental, RadCon, HazMat, etc.)
  • New material ID tracking and recorded into Puridiom to replace outdated/updated material ID’s
  • Ensure a three year rolling inventory process is conducted and kept on schedule.
  • Ensure inventory maintains an accuracy rate at least 95% or better.
  • Ensure all material is marked and labeled per Site procedures.


Commodity Tracking/Location

  • Network with SRS contacts to locate missing items
  • Perform data base searches (FMTS, Puridiom, Asset Suite) for missing items


Restock

  • Approve MAC restock of level 1 and 2 items
  • Ensure Min/Max Report is monitored and inventory levels maintained
  • Ensure Min/Max Report is updated as needed


Program Compliance

  • Participate in audit programs (QA, management, safety, housekeeping, etc.) including walk downs, follow-ups, and resolutions
  • Resolution of STAR items
  • MAC Facility Key Control Coordinator


Customer Relations

  • Conduct tours of the facilities at the request of the customer
  • Short term material staging for outgoing material
  • Short term material storage for the chemical/precious metals coordinator
  • MSR issuing discrepancies; ex: wrong material, wrong kit location, no kit location due to lagging
  • Transfer Request or inability to comment, waiting QA approval.
  • Follow-up with FPE’s to ensure Lab and Critical Process Items do not get lost in the
  • PeopleSoft/Puridiom process


Training

  • Schedule MAC employees for mandatory training; (CPR/First Aid, CAT, Etc.)


Shipments

  • Ensure correct material is pulled and has the appropriate paperwork; ex. Inconel and its accompanying CMTR’s.
  • Ensure load is secured/packaged properly, placed on the correct truck and shipped in a timely manner
  • Ensure QA inspection is performed
  • Obtain the ESO


Facility Upkeep

  • Relay work request information to building custodian and follow-up; ex. Roof leaks, HVAC problems, speaker volume, rain water intrusion, light bulb replacement, ice maker repair, vegetation control, etc.
  • Make notifications when dumpsters and roll-off pans are full


Valve Shop/Emergency Pickups

  • Ensure emergency pickups are made on schedule and as they arise
  • Ensure valves have parameter sheets and are taken to the valve shop
  • Ensure valve logbook has been properly filled out


Mail

  • Coordinate mail delivery/pickup
  • Make necessary changes to delivery routes

Recycled Toner

  • Ensure toner bins in both tank farms are checked and maintained
  • Coordinate return of full bins with Receiving personnel


Requests for Storage Program

  • Ensure Requests for Storage forms have been properly documented
  • Ensure adequate space exists for material
  • Assign ID numbers and locations for materials


Accountable Equipment

  • Contact individuals when accountable equipment is received
  • Ensure accountable equipment is properly marked, stored and entered into inventory
  • Ensure signature is obtained and documentation is complete

  • Must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. of weight.
  • Must have eyesight corrected to 20/40 to accurately read and interpret instruments and gauges.
  • Must be physically capable to work a rotating shift schedule.
  • Must be physically capable to hear and understand audible alarms.
  • Must be able to work in a physically demanding role. The work involves long hours standing and bending.
  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold temperatures) and inclement weather conditions
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must obtain and maintain a general SRS Site access badge.
  • Must possess a valid state’s driver’s license.
  • Obtain and maintain a property pass prior to transporting government owned or leased property offsite or in a private vehicle onsite.


Travel Requirements:

Some travel may be required, up to 10% of the time. The travel may be local or national and may be by car, rail, or air.
