At Dycom Industries, the Senior Claims Analyst is responsible for ongoing administration of property damage and bodily injury claims. The analyst will coordinate communications between our operating companies, claimants, attorneys, sub-contractors and insurance companies to ensure compliance and timely resolution.

What you’ll do
- Oversee the full lifecycle of complex claims including third-party property damage, bodily injury, utility strikes and equipment damage
- Support the operating companies with handling insurance claims
- Manage claim programs and relationships with third party administrators and insurance on casualty programs
- Responsible for assuring the quality and cost-effectiveness of the claims investigation process to include strategy development
- Effectively communicate with defense attorney regarding litigated cases and make recommendations regarding proposed settlements
- Determine insurance coverage by examining claims forms, policies, and other records
- Act as liaison between operating companies and external partners
- Report on claim trends to management
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Strong understanding of claims management and must be able to demonstrate the ability to analyze data and formulate recommendations and action plans
- A minimum of 5 years’ claims management experience in a risk management department (construction and/or telecommunication knowledge is a plus)
- Self-motivated individual who requires little direct supervision
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Strong time management and analytical skills
- Advance computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Google Mail experience is a plus
Physical abilities & exposures
- Routinely: Engage in standard office activities such as standing, sitting, and using computers for extended periods
- Occasionally: Travel domestically up to 10% to attend team meetings or training
