Job Title: Hanford Office of Communications (HOC) Graphics Support

Location:  Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy (DOE) government offices, Hanford Site in Richland, WA. This position may be telework eligible but there will be a 30-day waiting period during which 100% in-office support will be expected. 

Citizenship: US citizenship required  

Salary:  $34.00 - $39.81per/hour (non-exempt).  You will receive a competitive total rewards package that is applicable to the U.S. only. The salary range may vary based on years of applicable experience, skillset, education background/certifications and geographical location.

 

Minimum Qualifications Required:

BS/BA in communications or a related field of study6 years of experience may be substituted for BS/BA Minimum of five years of relevant experience

Preferred Experience and Capabilities:

Extensive use of Adobe Suite, Power Point and website, graphic designSkilled in problem identification and resolutionDemonstrated familiarity or relevant experience with proceduresExperience with government proceduresExcellent written and oral communications skills 

 Job Duties:

Develop high-quality PowerPoint and other types of presentations that describe various aspects of Hanford projects and mission, using Adobe Suite of graphic software. Create accurate and compelling information regarding Hanford programs.Update and maintain Hanford websites.Write and develop graphics for Hanford projects. Develop limited video products.Manage, create and coordinate all aspects of Hanford Site specific newsletters including content, graphics, layout and distribution.Develop storyboards.
