Patient Services Supervisor

Position Description

Supervises day-to-day activities for the PSS team, ensuring coverage and efficiency across the assigned functional unit. Monitors performance and productivity, provides coaching, and conducts employee evaluations. Manages employee timesheets and leave reporting. Coordinates with other teams to ensure consistent service standards. Trains other PSS team members.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Supervises day-to-day activities for the Patient Services Specialist (PSS) team, ensuring coverage and efficiency across the assigned functional unit.
  • Monitors performance and productivity, provides coaching, and conducts employee evaluations.
  • Coordinates with other teams to ensure consistent service standards.
  • Trains other PSS team members.


Occasional Duties

  • Occasional travel between Midland and Odessa.
  • Cover Patient Service Specialist as needed.
  • Assist clinic supervisor with overflow.


Required Qualifications

  • Must be a current TTHSC employee.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of customer service experience, of which two (2) years are in a supervisory role.
  • OR At least three (3) years of experience at TTUHSC in the Patient Services Program, with one (1) year of supervisory experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in psychiatry clinic.
  • Knowledge of Cerner and insurance verifications.
  • Bilingual spanish /English
