Production Member - 1st Shift
The time to make a change is now. The Production Member is responsible for safely manufacturing and assembling high quality bathing products while meeting production, quality, and delivery goals.
This role operates production equipment, performs assembly and inspection tasks, and follows standardized work instructions to ensure products meet company and customer specifications. Production members work collaboratively to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential job functions include but are not limited to:
Lift, carry and place parts on trim fixture
Use hand tools to smooth rough edges
Make pass/fail quality decisions based on quality standards
Prep boxes with labels and instructions
Lift, carry and place finished parts on the box
Close and staple the box using air powered staple gun
Stack completed boxes on the pallet and prep for stretch wrap
Follow standardized work to meet production and quality expectations
Participate in team environment with 2 – 5 team members in the area
Physical Requirements of position:
Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs. Occasionally work with pushing weights of up to 40lbs.
Use hands to manipulate and operate hand tools and power tools.
Able to bend, reach, twist and carry above shoulder / below waist level.
Able to stand and walk for periods of up to 8 hours, with breaks.
Able to visually inspect parts for defects.
