Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute digital strategy for the WCH Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with IT/OT and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and investment plans for engineering systems and digital transformation initiatives.
- Identify, deliver and scale projects that improve quality, capacity, data insights, and process efficiency.
- Work collaboratively across manufacturing sites and functions to ensure alignment and advancement of platform digital initiatives, manufacturing execution system (MES) projects, and strategic technology implementation.
- Provide technology insights for business planning and value stream mapping.
- Own platform metrics to enable performance and strategic progress.
- Cultivate external partnerships and foster internal collaboration across all levels.
- Mentor and develop digital team members through coaching and career planning.
- Follow regulatory and company guidelines related to Quality, Compliance, EHS&S, and Financial reporting
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in the Engineering or Data Science field is required. Advanced degree (M.S. or M.B.A.) is preferable.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in business or technical roles, with experience in a technical leadership role that includes people management responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
- Proven experience in business strategy development and implementation.
- Strong business acumen in emerging digital technologies (cloud, IoT, AI/ML, RPA, AR/VR).
- Strong understanding of data visualization techniques and their business applications.
- Ability to manage technology, drive financial goals, and make customer-focused decisions.
- Ability to implement change and work effectively to drive alignment in a global environment.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as Six Sigma/Process Excellence and/or Project Management/PMP/FPX.
- Familiarity with common programming languages (SQL, DAX, VBA, HTML, JavaScript).
- Track record of innovation
