Inventory Clerk

We are looking for a dependable Inventory Clerk to support daily warehouse operations in Rockaway, New Jersey. This is a Long-term Contract position focused on handling premium gourmet products with care, maintaining organized inventory, and helping ensure accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, follows procedures closely, and takes pride in keeping materials properly stored and prepared for shipment.

Responsibilities:
• Organize warehouse stock by restacking cartons and arranging products so inventory remains neat, accessible, and secure.
• Pick and prepare customer orders with close attention to accuracy, product condition, and packing quality.
• Pack high-value gourmet items for outbound shipment using careful handling methods to protect product integrity.
• Assist with routine inventory support tasks, including checking item counts and maintaining orderly storage areas.
• Perform clerical warehouse duties such as updating records, confirming order details, and supporting documentation needs.
• Help coordinate outgoing shipments to ensure orders are ready on time and meet established handling standards.
• Create shipping labels as needed and verify that package information matches order requirements.
• Work with team members to maintain a clean, efficient, and well-organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in warehouse, inventory, or order fulfillment work.
• Ability to restack boxes, move products, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with order picking, packing, and general co-packing activities.
• Strong attention to detail when handling premium or fragile items.
• Basic clerical skills, including accurate recordkeeping and paperwork support.
• Ability to follow instructions, stay organized, and manage tasks efficiently.
• Dependable attendance and a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Compensation

$17.10-$19.80 Hourly
