Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to provide hands-on litigation support for a growing law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. This Long-term Contract position will focus on managing day-to-day case activity for a significant incoming matter while working closely with the managing partner on ongoing litigation priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and refine litigation documents, including motions, briefs, pleadings, and related case materials.

• Conduct legal research and translate findings into practical recommendations that support case strategy.

• Assist with discovery execution by organizing responses, reviewing materials, and tracking deadlines.

• Summarize depositions and other case records to help attorneys assess key facts and arguments.

• Partner closely with the managing partner to support daily litigation needs and maintain progress across active matters.

• Participate in case transition discussions with prior counsel to help ensure continuity on incoming litigation.

• Contribute to strategy meetings and other important case discussions as needed, either remotely or on site.

Qualifications:

• Active attorney license in Georgia.

• Demonstrated experience handling civil litigation matters in a law firm or comparable legal environment.

• Strong ability to draft motions, briefs, and other litigation documents with minimal oversight.

• Working knowledge of discovery processes, court filings, and case management responsibilities.

• Ability to perform detailed legal research and produce clear, well-supported written analysis.

• Comfortable supporting fast-moving matters with changing priorities and a variable weekly workload.

• Availability to work approximately 20 to 40 hours per week in a contract capacity.
