Division Controller
We are looking for an experienced Division Controller to lead financial operations for a division of a large organization. This role will guide accounting oversight, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting while helping leadership evaluate business performance and profitability. The ideal candidate brings strong controllership expertise and can build effective processes, develop teams, and support sound operational decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead all finance and accounting functions for the division ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable reporting
- Serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager and operations, driving profitability and operational efficiency
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; align with corporate goals and drive accountability to results
- Analyze performance, identify trends and variances, and translate insights into clear action plans
- Partner with managers to strengthen financial acumen and improve decision-making
- Oversee capital planning and investment analysis, ensuring strong ROI discipline
- Maintain and improve internal controls, financial processes, and reporting tools
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies while driving efficiency and simplification
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate financial performance clearly across all levels
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and development within the finance function
Qualifications:
• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibility within a controllership function.
• Strong background in month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control management.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting team members in a fast-paced operating environment.
• Effective cross-functional communication skills with the ability to partner across operational and corporate teams.
Compensation
