Receptionist
We are looking for a personable and organized Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a construction-focused environment. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming first impression, managing incoming communications, and keeping administrative activities running smoothly. The role requires strong phone-handling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assist visitors and callers in a detail-oriented manner. M-F, 8am-5pm, for a one week coverage.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors, direct them appropriately, and maintain a detail-oriented front desk presence throughout the day.
• Manage a multi-line phone system by answering incoming calls promptly, routing messages, and connecting callers to the correct contacts.
• Handle high volumes of inbound phone traffic with courtesy, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Support day-to-day reception coverage for a part-time schedule while ensuring consistent service at the front desk.
• Keep the reception area orderly and presentable to promote a positive experience for guests and staff.
• Provide basic administrative assistance such as taking messages, relaying information, and supporting office communication needs.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience performing front desk or receptionist-related duties in a detail-oriented office setting.• Ability to operate a multi-line or switchboard phone system with confidence and accuracy.
• Strong verbal communication skills with a courteous and detail-oriented phone manner.
• Experience handling inbound calls and directing inquiries efficiently.
• Reliable availability for a part-time work schedule.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
