Dispatcher
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate technician schedules for service, inspections, installations, monitoring-related work, fire alarm and detection systems, and sprinkler projects.
• Manage customer appointments across weekly, monthly, and biannual service intervals while maintaining an accurate and organized calendar.
• Receive inbound service requests, collect key job details, and assign work to the appropriate technicians, typically planning schedules up to two weeks in advance.
• Respond quickly to same-day changes such as emergencies, technician absences, or delays by adjusting schedules and communicating updates to customers.
• Handle a high volume of daily calls while providing responsive support and clear scheduling information.
• Review completion records each day to confirm jobs were finished correctly, identify follow-up needs, and support compliance tracking.
• Monitor longer inspection or testing assignments to ensure the proper team remains assigned until all work is completed.
• Maintain and update customer account information accurately within dispatch and service management systems, including Tigris, Service Trade, and Great Plains.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in dispatching, service coordination, or a similar scheduling-focused role.• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally by phone.
• Proven ability to manage calendars, prioritize competing demands, and adjust schedules in a fast-moving environment.
• High attention to detail when tracking job status, reviewing reports, and maintaining accurate records.
• Comfortable handling a large volume of calls and coordinating multiple technicians throughout the day.
• Experience with compliance reporting, auditing, or reviewing service documentation is preferred.
• Proficiency with dispatch or service platforms such as Tigris, Service Trade, Great Plains, or related systems.
• Ability to gather customer information efficiently without providing technical troubleshooting support.
Compensation
