Sr Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to support full-cycle accounting functions. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys working in a deadline-driven environment, maintaining accurate records, and producing dependable financial reports. You will partner with operational leaders and other stakeholders to help ensure accounts are handled efficiently and in alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records for assigned accounts and properties.

• Perform month-end closing activities, including reviewing ledgers and resolving discrepancies within required timelines.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and bank statements to ensure completeness and accuracy.

• Monitor financial activity for assigned properties and support the preparation of routine reports for internal teams and clients.

• Work closely with property managers, vendors, and other business partners to research issues and provide accounting support.

• Review account activity, investigate variances, and follow through on outstanding items to keep records current and reliable.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience in an accrual accounting environment.

• Practical experience with journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes.

• Proven ability to complete account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations, with a high level of accuracy.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with non-financial teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Compensation

$75,000.00-$85,000.00 Yearly
