Administrative Assistant
Company Overview
A performance-focused engineering and manufacturing company specializing in high-quality automotive components, primarily for Porsche and other performance vehicles. Recently acquired in October 2025, the organization is in a growth and rebuild phase, operating with a lean, hands-on team that values flexibility, adaptability, and initiative.
Position Overview
This role will serve as the first line of defense for customer service and operations support, helping manage inbound communication and alleviating internal teams who are currently balancing multiple responsibilities.
Due to recent team changes, this position is critical in maintaining strong customer communication, improving response times, and allowing leadership and revenue-generating roles to stay focused on higher-level priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for inbound customer communication (phone, email, text)
- Handle high-volume inquiries such as:
- Order status updates (“Where is my order?”)
- ETA requests for parts and shipments
- Work within internal systems (including Shopify) to:
- Review order notes
- Track order progress and updates
- Proactively follow up with vendors to obtain shipment timelines and push for updates when needed
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, even when delays occur
- Support coordination between:
- Sales
- Operations
- Vendors
- Assist with light operational support during downtime (shipping/logistics support as needed)
Qualifications:

- Professional and polished with strong customer-facing communication skills
- Highly resourceful and self-sufficient — able to find answers without heavy direction
- Positive attitude with strong energy and reliability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Clear, helpful, and not overly pushy in tone
- Detail-oriented, responsive, and proactive
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing, evolving environment
- Able to get up and running quickly
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Background in customer service, administrative support, or operations
- Experience with logistics, vendor coordination, or order tracking
- Automotive interest or background (nice to have, not required)
Work Environment & Culture

Compensation
