Receptionist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to support front-desk operations in Texas. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, managing incoming calls efficiently, and creating a welcoming experience for visitors and callers. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a steady flow of administrative and phone-related tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests and provide a courteous, welcoming first impression at the front desk.
• Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, directing each call to the appropriate person or department.
• Operate the switchboard efficiently while handling a high volume of inbound phone traffic.
• Take accurate messages and relay important information promptly to internal team members.
• Support daily reception activities, including maintaining the front office area and assisting with basic administrative tasks.
• Coordinate communications in a clear and organized manner to help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or similar customer-facing support role.
• Ability to confidently handle a multi-line phone system or switchboard environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and detail-oriented phone presence.
• Proven ability to manage inbound calls accurately and efficiently in a busy setting.
• Solid organizational skills and careful attention to detail when taking messages and routing information.
• Availability to work in a part-time capacity as needed for the assignment.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
