System Administrator
Responsibilities:
• Oversee administration of Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Active Directory environments, including access management and directory support.
• Design and refine operational processes that improve the efficiency, stability, and use of Microsoft server and Azure-based resources.
• Build, implement, and maintain procedures that support effective deployment and management of AWS services and infrastructure.
• Evaluate cloud and server performance, identify bottlenecks or resource conflicts, and recommend upgrades or configuration adjustments.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation such as standards, specifications, procedures, and system support materials.
• Coordinate with data center personnel, technical teams, and users to complete deployments, upgrades, and configuration updates.
• Administer Azure infrastructure security controls and assist application owners and users with appropriate access provisioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting Windows and Linux servers while minimizing disruption to business operations.
• Create PowerShell scripts to automate monitoring tasks and support Active Directory and Azure administration activities.
• Research infrastructure needs, recommend practical technical solutions, and suggest process improvements for the broader systems environment.
Qualifications:
• Three to five years of IT experience supporting multiple systems environments in an enterprise setting.• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or four years of equivalent relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Entra ID, and Active Directory administration.
• Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure support practices.
• Experience supporting both Microsoft Windows Server and Linux server environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, implementation, optimization, and system upgrade activities.
• Ability to write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, monitoring, and administrative tasks.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to document procedures, research solutions, and provide sound technical recommendations.
