Paralegal - Manager

Compensation: $75 to $90 Yearly

We are looking for a highly organized and driven Paralegal Manager to lead the pre-litigation department at a growing personal injury firm. This role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining workflow discipline, and overseeing case progress from intake to litigation readiness. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and thrive in a structured environment dedicated to delivering excellent results.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all workflows and operational standards within the pre-litigation department.
• Ensure cases progress efficiently and are prepared for litigation handoffs with high-quality standards.
• Conduct audits, monitor performance metrics, and handle capacity planning to optimize department operations.
• Identify and resolve workflow challenges, recurring issues, and process inefficiencies through corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments, including Litigation, Intake, Finance, and Records, to ensure seamless coordination.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for addressing communication issues, compliance concerns, and operational risks.
• Maintain a limited caseload to stay connected with day-to-day execution and department needs.
• Drive team accountability and adherence to operational procedures while fostering a positive work environment.
• Monitor industry trends and implement best practices to enhance department performance.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the Director of Pre-Litigation regarding department progress and challenges.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in pre-litigation within personal injury law, including leadership roles.
• Expertise in personal injury workflows, documentation standards, and preparing cases for litigation.
• Strong skills in capacity planning, operational governance, and minimizing rework.
• Exceptional communication abilities with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
• Alignment with values such as accountability, teamwork, compassion, and integrity.
• Commitment to maintaining a positive, detail-oriented work environment with zero tolerance for workplace drama.
• Proficiency in tools such as estate planning, corporate legal management systems, and docket/calendar management.
• Familiarity with pre-litigation processes and personal injury law standards.

Compensation

$75,000.00-$90,000.00 Yearly
