Operations Assistant

We are looking for an Operations Assistant to support prototype equipment activities and related operational testing in San Bruno, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable in a hands-on environment, can stay attentive during active equipment runs, and is confident following established procedures. This is a 1-year contract opportunity with two different shifts:

Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm - Midnight (4 days, 10 hours shifts)

Monday to Thursday, Midnight - 10:00am (4 days, 10 hours shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee prototype devices while they are running, staying alert to performance changes and taking appropriate action when irregular conditions appear.

• Load and remove materials or units from equipment as needed

• Track equipment status through display screens and alerts, responding quickly to warning conditions and initiating shutdown steps when required.

• Collect samples and record measurements using tools and testing methods.

• Assist with testing activities

• Unpacking incoming units, reviewing condition, and separating items into appropriate disposition categories.

Qualifications:

• At least 1+ years of experience in operations, general clerical support, testing, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment.

• Ability to monitor equipment carefully, follow detailed instructions, and react appropriately to alarms or changing operating conditions.

• Experience with data entry and back-office support tasks, including accurate documentation of test results or operational information.

• Comfortable using basic laboratory or measurement equipment to gather readings and sample data.

• Strong dependability, attention to detail, and commitment to keeping workspaces organized and sanitary.
