Job Title: Construction Administrator
Job Summary:
The Construction Administrator provides administrative and operational support for construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role helps ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and properly documented by coordinating contracts, project files, communications, schedules, and compliance-related paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to project managers, superintendents, and construction teams
- Maintain project files, contracts, submittals, change orders, RFIs, and other construction documentation
- Track project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables
- Coordinate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Assist with bid documents, proposals, and contract administration
- Prepare reports, meeting notes, and project correspondence
- Monitor insurance certificates, permits, lien waivers, and compliance documentation
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and other project-related financial paperwork
- Support project closeout by organizing final documents, warranties, and punch list items
- Maintain accurate records in project management systems and spreadsheets
- Help ensure documentation is complete and aligned with company and project requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of administrative, construction administration, project coordination, or related experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with construction management or document control systems preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Compensation
