Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, and helping ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany accounts
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and account analyses
• Assist with accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset accounting
• Help maintain accurate and complete accounting documentation and records
• Support audit requests and assist with tax and compliance reporting
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation efforts
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
