Videographer/Video Editor
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage projects from concept through final delivery and has access to their own detail oriented production equipment.
Responsibilities Capture high-quality video content for a variety of healthcare-related initiatives Edit video footage into polished final products for digital, social, internal, and external audiences Conduct on-site filming for interviews, events, conferences, and corporate productions Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project goals and creative direction Manage all aspects of post-production, including editing, color correction, audio enhancement, motion graphics, and formatting for multiple platforms Organize and maintain video assets and project files Travel locally throughout the DC metro area as needed for meetings, productions, and conferences
Qualifications:
Requirements 3+ years of detail oriented videography and video editing experience Strong portfolio showcasing both videography and post-production work Proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve Experience capturing interviews, events, and corporate video content Must own and maintain detail oriented production equipment, including: Camera(s) Lighting equipment Audio equipment Editing software and workstation Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills Logistics Freelance, project-based engagement with work available on an as-needed basis Must be local to the Washington, DC metro area Ability to come into the client's studio office approximately twice per month when project needs require Occasional local travel required for conferences, meetings, and production shoots Preferred Qualifications Experience working with healthcare, nonprofit, government, or regulated industries Motion graphics and animation experience Photography experience a plus Familiarity with social media video best practicesCompensation
