| Position Description |
The Ni Group invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position. Our group creates molecules at the lowest possible temperatures to study fundamental aspects of chemical reactions and physical dynamics and explore quantum many-body physics and quantum information in chemistry-related applications.
The successful candidate will work on new experimental approaches and hardware implementations for ultracold molecular assembly as well as investigating coherence and entanglement in chemical systems and exotic phases of matter. Responsibilities:
1. Conduct independent and collaborative research in experimental ultracold molecules, quantum chemistry, and/or quantum many-body physics
2. Publish and present research findings in high-quality scientific journals and conferences.
3. Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and students on interdisciplinary research projects.
4. Contribute to the preparation of research proposals.
5. Participate in teaching and mentoring activities for undergraduate and graduate students.

| Basic Qualifications |
1. A Ph.D. in physics, physical chemistry, or a closely related field
2. Demonstrated record of research achievement.
3. Strong hands-on skills as well as written and oral communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
