What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play a vital role in maintaining mission-critical facilities and equipment. No two days are the same as you tackle a variety of maintenance and repair challenges.

Responsibilities include:
✔ Performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections on buildings, equipment, and systems

✔ Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility-related issues

✔ Repairing and replacing components such as motors, pumps, compressors, fans, bearings, seals, switches, fixtures, receptacles, and filters

✔ Maintaining walls, ceilings, flooring, sidewalks, concrete surfaces, and other building components

✔ Assisting with HVAC support functions, irrigation systems, compressed gas systems, and general facility operations

✔ Diagnosing equipment malfunctions and determining effective repair solutions

✔ Using hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repair work safely and efficiently

✔ Maintaining accurate records and assisting with repair specifications when needed

✔ Supporting facility appearance, cleanliness, and overall operational readiness

✔ Working as part of a collaborative maintenance team committed to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of facility maintenance, mechanical repair, or related experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing building systems and mechanical equipment
• Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass required background screenings and drug testing
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to meet physical and security requirements associated with the position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare, government, military, industrial, or commercial facilities
• Experience with pumps, compressors, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC support, or mechanical equipment repair
• Trade certifications or specialized maintenance training
• Experience working in a regulated or safety-sensitive environment
